Milestone & outlook: 6 years of solidarity action in Brussels since 2018
Convening in accordance with statutory guidelines prior to June 30th, the ordinary General Assembly of HELP4YOU ASBL conducted a comprehensive review of the six years of activity achieved since the association's founding on 14 February 2018.
Steadfast Commitment to Our Statutory Mission
Since our statutes were officially published in the Belgian Official Gazette on 28 February 2018, our purpose has remained constant: uniting the socio-professional insertion of jobseekers facing barriers with direct assistance to persons with reduced mobility, sick, or convalescent residents.
"Our associative model has demonstrated its social value: making everyday community solidarity the foundation of career learning and return-to-work empowerment. Every hour of accompaniment assists a neighbor while securing a professional future."
— Samira TAGHZOU, President of the Board
Resolutions Adopted by the General Assembly
During the session, members unanimously approved the annual accounts and established key strategic milestones:
- Strengthening Hospital Partnerships: Deepening coordination with social departments in Brussels hospitals for hospital discharge and recurring outpatient care.
- Expanding Training Modules: Adding eco-driving and first aid modules for insertion candidates.
- Maintaining Social Affordability: Reaffirming our commitment to accessible social support and an annual membership fee capped statutarily at €75/year.
Transparent Collegial Management
The association reaffirms strict adherence to the Belgian Code of Companies and Associations. The Board of Directors—composed of Samira Taghzou (President), Nisrine Bahraoui (Secretary), and Yasmine Isanja Sewolo (Administrator)—continues to ensure that 100% of resources serve our community beneficiaries.
