Founded on Solidarity and Public Benefit
The non-profit association HELP4YOU was established on 14 February 2018 in Brussels as an Association Sans But Lucratif (ASBL / VZW), governed by the Belgian Code of Companies and Associations. Its official statutes were published in the Belgian Official Gazette (Moniteur belge) on 28 February 2018.
Our founding was born from a clear observation: in the Brussels-Capital Region, exclusion from the labor market and social isolation due to reduced mobility often affect the very same households. A person without accessible transport struggles to attend essential medical appointments or complete civic formalities. Simultaneously, motivated jobseekers struggle to break into employment without tangible experience.
HELP4YOU was created to solve both challenges in synergy: transforming community accompaniment and adapted transport into empowering pathways for socio-professional insertion.
Article 3 — Disinterested Purpose & Social Mission
The social purpose of HELP4YOU ASBL is strictly defined in its registered statutes (BCE: 0690.681.570).
"The association pursues the following disinterested non-profit purpose:
- Socio-professional insertion of jobseekers who face significant barriers to labor market integration;
- Assistance to persons with reduced mobility (PRM), and/or patients, and/or sick persons, and/or convalescents.
To achieve this purpose, the association notably organizes passenger accompaniment and transport for persons with reduced mobility, non-urgent medical accompaniment, assistance with daily administrative tasks, as well as goods transport and the provision of adapted vehicles directly benefiting vulnerable persons."
Board of Directors (Conseil d'Administration)
HELP4YOU is managed collegially by a dedicated Board of Directors ensuring legal, ethical, and financial compliance.
Guarantor of the association's social mission, institutional representation with public authorities, and strategic development of solidarity programs.
Oversees statutory registers, minutes of General Assemblies, and coordination with community partners and members.
Supervises operational implementation of field activities, beneficiary intake protocols, and advocacy for vulnerable individuals.
Annual General Assembly
Per the association's statutes, the ordinary General Assembly meets annually before June 30th to approve annual financial accounts, review the moral report, and establish statutory membership fees (capped at €75/year).
Non-Profit Character
Board members serve in a disinterested capacity. All operational surpluses are mandatory reinvestments into beneficiary accompaniment, staff training, and vehicle equipment.
